Kastelruth and environments

The Schlern region in the heart of the Dolomites offers you a plenty of possibilities: In summer you can go on wonderful hiking-tours, practice extreme sports like climbing or paragliding, play golf, or go swimming in the Völser Weiher or the near (public) swimming pool. Winter sports fans enjoy themselves skiing, snowboarding and sledging on the Seiser Alm. Activity holiday is a big word in Kastelruth, but also shopping in Kastelruth can be a nice experience. In the near castle “Schloss Prösels” frequently there are cultural events, concerts and exhibitions of local artists.
